The University is a leading and specialist provider of sport and health science related programmes. We are seeking applications from sport, exercise and health psychology specialists to teach across our undergraduate provision in the sport & health sciences. This opening is for maternity cover and is therefore offered for a period of up to 12 months commencing from February/March 2016. The position may be suitable for one or more sport, exercise and health psychologists seeking an opportunity for a sustained period of employment and experience as a lecturer in higher education. Therefore the position is open to individuals expressing an interest on either a full-time or part-time contract basis
6 months Fixed Term
The University is a leading and specialist provider of Physical Education and sport-related programmes. We are seeking applications from QTS Physical Education (PE) professionals to teach across our QTS provision in secondary & primary education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This opening is for a fixed term period of 6 months (commencing January 2016 and concluding at the end of the summer term 2016) and may be suitable for one or more PE professionals currently working in schools and seeking an opportunity for a period of secondment in higher education. Therefore the position is open to individuals expressing an interest on either a full-time or part-time fixed term contract basis.
Applications are invited for the above part-time post. The postholder will be contributing to an officer preparation course for a group of 20 junior officers from the Middle East and will be required to:
• design, prepare, deliver and assess an appropriate course in Rule of the Road and related subject areas
• plan, coordinate and accompany a series of weekly visits, many of a military character
• act as a role model for junior officers
• prepare the trainees for entry to Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC), Dartmouth.

Marjon Sport is looking to appoint an Apprentice Recreation Assistant to work as part of a team to assist, monitor and supervise customers in the Marjon Sports Centre. Specific responsibilities include lifeguarding, fitness room supervision, security, cleanliness, safety of customers and emergency procedures and ensuring customer satisfaction.
We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person to fill the role of Duty Officer, Marjon Sport. You will be responsible for leading a team of staff on a shift basis at the University’s Sports Centre and acting as the responsible person in charge of the sports facilities in the absence of more senior managers.
