Ecopoetry, Connection & Metaphor

The Public Visiting Writer Series welcomes Isabel Galleymore to the Faculty of Culture & Language Sciences on Tuesday, February 16 at 18:30 in the University's Library Lecture Theatre.

Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Environment & Sustainability Award, Isabel Galleymore is currently a doctoral student focusing on nature writing pedagogy, ecopoetics and the potential of metaphor at the University of Exeter.

Her poems have featured in publications such as Poetry Review, Poetry London, Mslexia and The Rialto, and her first pamphlet of poems, Dazzle Ship, was published by Worple Press in 2014.

Isabel will read from her work and explore the basis of her doctoral study.

The event is free for all to attend.
