Released: 02.04.15

‌Music Production students will take centre stage at the Eden Project this month in an explosive array of interactive sound, light and movement.

During the weekend of 25th and 26th April the ‘Elements Expo’ will transform the Core building into an immersive environment for children and adults of all ages to enjoy.

Si Gordon, Lecturer in Music Production said: “We are really excited about this partnership; using this outstanding internationally renowned venue as a platform for our students to showcase their work and experiments to the general public is very unique.

“I’m salivating at the innovative experiments they have lined up for the audience; it’s definitely a key event for those who are interested sonic, visual art and music.”

The project has been coordinated by current Music Production BA (Hons) students at dBs Music based at Cornwall College who will showcase various connections between sound, light and movement and their effect on matter.

Participants will be exposed and involved in an ingenious array of out-of-the-box interactive experiments that promise to wow guests with hands-on experiments and visual displays using cutting-edge technology and light projects.

The event takes place at the Eden Project during the weekend of Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April 2015 from 10:00 until 13:00 and 14:00 until 17:00.
