MTV Crashes Plymouth was set to be one of the biggest music events to rock Britain’s Ocean City – and that’s why the University of St Mark & St John had to get in on the act.

Our university may be small but we like to think BIG and are delighted to be have sponsored yesterday's MTV Crashes Plymouth on the city’s world-famous Hoe seafront.

Among the top stars to have appeared at the the first ever MTV Crashes Plymouth are Kaiser Chiefs, Example, The 1975 and Kiesza as well as a dozen up-and-coming top acts from across the South West.

Our university team rocked up up with some BIG prizes when MTV Crashes Plymouth -including a snazzy paddleboard, one of this summer’s hottest must-have items if you live or study by the sea.

University head of marketing and communications Emma Hewitt say: “The university is thrilled to have sponsored MTV Crashes Plymouth because it was another fantastic opportunity to showcase our amazing city and waterfront to the world!
