Wimbledon starts on Monday so the University of St Mark & St John Sports Centre is serving up a couple of summer activity aces for children.

With Andy Murray and Serena Williams on the television, your children may want to try tennis – and they will be in luck!

Top new children’s summer sporting activity evenings have started at the University of St Mark & St John – and one of them caters for young tennis aces.

Tuesday is tennis time at the University Sports Centre, serving up mini-tennis for four to seven year olds between 16:00-16:50, beginners’ classes for 8-10 year olds from 16:50-17:50 followed by intermediate tennis for 11-15 year olds between 18:00-19:00.

On Monday evenings there are two new gymnastics activity sessions at the Sports Centre.

The first is for children between five and eight years old (from 1600-16:50) the second for children aged nine to 15 years (16:50-17:40).
