Research Background:
  • Eight years experience working as a Sports Development practitioner in various settings which included County Sports Partnerships, National Governing Bodies of Sport, Professional Football Clubs and specific National Projects (Active Sports).
  • Currently developing a research profile that will utilise past and current work experiences, with areas of teaching/academic expertise.

  • The effectiveness of coach education courses and initiatives
  • Pedagogical issues in sports development 
  • The impact of ‘the event’ in achieving wider sports development outcomes
  • Consumer Behaviour in sport
