Governance

This section of the website provides details of the governance of the University College including membership, structure and policy documents.

The University College Board of Governors has 25 members and is responsible for:

  • Determining the educational character and mission of the University College and to oversee its activities
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources
  • Approving annual estimates of income and expenditure
  • Appointing, grading, suspending, dismissing and determining the pay and conditions of service of the Holders of Senior Posts and the Chaplain
  • Setting a framework for the pay and conditions of service of all other staff
