    Duration: 18 months part-time
  • This part-time BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science for the Armed Forces gives students with an appropriate FdSc and armed forces PTs a consolidating qualification for their formal academic and professional responsibilities in the sport andexercise science environment. The degree has been designed to help learners develop a critical understanding of the concepts, theories and principles of sport and exercise science whilst ensuring technical proficiency in an array of practical and analysis techniques. Students will learn in our world class BASES accredited sport science lab.

    Modules are delivered through a blended learning approach i.e. taught lectures, lab practicals, conditioning practicals and e-learning. The course is delivered by academically qualified staff, and UKSCA, NSCA and BASES accredited practitioners and is enriched by guest speakers from professional organisations. Students can access excellent strength and conditioning and sport science facilities within the sports centre and link with other members of the sport and health department, including sport therapists and health scientists.
