    Course Overview

    Duration: Three years full-time or up to six years part-time
  • Our business law course gives students an all important edge by developing their understanding of the law and legal systems. It provides you with a thorough foundation in business law to prepare you for various business-related occupations such as chartered secretarial, HR management, accountancy and progress through chosen professional body awards.

    You will learn about general areas of law such as the legal and regulatory framework, delict, as well as more business related areas such as corporate law, governance and competition law. The inclusion of topics such as environmental law, media law and governance and ethics, gives the programme a contemporary perspective. This is a new course starting in 2017 and is currently subject to validation.

Course Leader

Dr Carl Evans is a qualified company secretary. Carl is well connected in the South West business community, he runs CPD activities and has published several papers. He is supported by part-time lecturers who all work in business, bringing a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge.
