The University of St Mark & St John has worked with the Government of Malaysia continuously for nearly 30 years – since 1983 – on more than 15 ELT teacher education and teacher training projects.

The University currently has an institutional twinning link with two teacher training colleges in Malaysia: Institut Pendidikan Guru- Kampus Gaya in Sabah, East Malaysia and Institut Pendidikan Guru- Kampus Kota Bharu in West Malaysia, for the purpose of training secondary teachers to B.Ed (Honours) level. The first three years of the degree are taught in UCP Marjon and the final one in IPG Kota Bharu and Gaya.

The University also has a collaborative partnership with SEGi University running joint programmes in a range of academic disciplines.
