Choosing where you want to study is of course a serious decision. The availability and price of accommodation is an important factor in that decision.  UCP Marjon was ranked in the top 10 for affordability in the Sunday Times University Guide 2007.

For many, becoming a student is their first experience of living away from home. Moving to new surroundings is both exciting and sometimes a little daunting. We understand this transition and so put a great deal of effort into helping students with their accommodation.

On Campus we have places for 490 students. There are 7catered Halls of Residence and 38 self-catering Village Houses.

280 single catered rooms / 22 twin catered rooms / 4 single en-suite catered rooms for those with mobility impairments.

121 single self catering rooms / 39 small single self catering rooms / 2 single self catering rooms for those with mobility impairmants.

Parking on Campus is available for students who hold a parking permit, the current cost is £35 for the academic year.

If you are moving to Plymouth you will need to register with a doctor.  We are lucky to have good links with Elm Surgery with whom you can register if you live on Campus or in private accommodation within Elm Surgeries catchment area.  You can download registration forms via the Marjon students page on their website www.elmsurgery.co.uk  We recommend that before you leave home you check with your GP surgery that you have been immunised against Meningitus C, Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Tetanus, Diptheria and Polio.  If your immunisations are not up to date, then speak to your GP or alternatively contact Elm Surgery when you arrive in Plymouth.
