You can only renew via the catalogue or over the phone ten times; if you wish to renew them again, you must physically bring the items into the library.
If you have any problems renewing items please do not hesitate to contact us, either by telephone or email.
ReservationsIf an item you need is checked out to another student you may place a reservation using the library catalogue. This is referred to as a ‘hold’, it may also be called a ‘request’.
You can only successfully reserve items which are currently on loan. If you place a reservation on an item which is checked in the system will block that reservation. However if it appears that you have reserved an item of which copies should be on the shelves you will not be notified. Please ensure you only use the system to reserve items which are checked out.
If you have problems locating an item which should be on the shelves please inform a member of Library staff or fill in a trace form.
Further information, guides and tutorials are available online or are available in hard copy from the Library.
