During a visit to Plymouth in December, the Rector of Petro Mohyla University in southern Ukraine, Professor Leonid Klymenko, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Professor Margaret Noble, Principal of UCP Marjon.
The two institutions plan to collaborate on various exchanges and projects, including developing a bilingual degree programme in the Faculty of Economic Sciences. Professor Noble will also be taking part in an international conference in Yalta organised by Petro Mohyla University in June.
Last month, Michael Hall, Head of Short Courses in the Centre for International Education at UCP Marjon visited the Petro Mohyla University and said of his trip “The warmth of my welcome and the enthusiasm for partnership of all the people I talked to at the institution more than made up for the prevailing Arctic weather conditions. We very much look forward to working with them.”
Petro Mohyla University was founded only fourteen years ago but since then has built up a student population of 4500, including 100 at postgraduate level.
