Welcome to the Centre for Educational Research (CER).

The CER is a multi-disciplinary centre for a broad spectrum of educational research.  It brings together the wealth of expertise from across the institution to build on Marjon’s long-standing reputation in the field of education, drawing on extensive experience of practice and policy formation within the UK and internationally.       

Staff and postgraduates contributing to the CER come from a range of disciplinary and professional backgrounds, including sociology, applied linguistics and cognition, geography, philosophy, psychology, science, initial teacher training, community and youth work, sports, and ICT.  The links on the left provide more information.
