LearningSpace is the University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It complements a student's on-campus experience by providing 24/7 access to resources and activities from anywhere in the world.


Mahara is the University's e-Portfolio package, allowing students and staff to create, maintain and share a rich online portfolio. Get help.

Replay - Content Capture

Replay provides the platform for the University's campus-wide content capture system. Staff can record lectures and other learning material and make them available to students via LearningSpace. Get help.


Xerte Online Toolkits is a rapid online authoring application developed by the University of Nottingham. It allows staff and students to create and share interactive learning materials directly via a web browser.

MS Lync

Microsoft Lync (2010) is a rich communication tool which staff can use to run teaching sessions or meet with colleagues in different locations using video/audio chat and a range of powerful collaborative tools. Get help.
