Student Personal Trainers - Open to All
UCP Marjon sports centre has been working very closely with selected 2nd year students involved within the BSc (Hons) Health, Exercise and Physical activity degree to bring an exciting and unique scheme to the facility. This project involves students qualified in REP’s level 3 Personal training coupled with extensive knowledge acquired through modules within their degree to offer a move extensive based program and personal training services to clients. Bookings are now available at £12.50hr. For more details please speak to sports centre reception or fill out the registraion form below and hand it in at reception
What is Personal Training?
Personal trainers are fitness experts who help you attain a greater level of fitness, increase your knowledge and raise health awareness. Personal training is a one to one personalized service which focuses on creating you the perfect training experience specifically tailored and structured towards your goals and requests.
What can student Personal Trainers offer?
All student personal trainers are here to provide a friendly and professional service of personal training. Goal: To take my clients goals whether it’s in weight loss and toning, weight and strength gain or just overall health and wellness and design a program that will be both fun and effective.
As a Student Personal Trainer I can offer: My passion for health and fitness, coupled with my university background, led me to becoming a personal trainer. I strongly believe in the necessity for an active, fitness oriented lifestyle consisting of cardio, strength, flexibility and recreational activities. It gives me great satisfaction to pass along my knowledge and enthusiasm with the highest standard of service, safety and professionalism to all those who want to adopt a lifestyle of physical and mental health and wellness. As a Student Personal Trainer I can offer: I have a great desire to help clients achieve their personal individual goals and to educate clients to live healthier lifestyles. I have 5 year’s experience in the health and fitness industry in this time I have built up invaluable experience which I hope to share with you. My areas of interest are road cycling and competing, triathlon training and competing, running and resistance training, Powerboating, I have also spent the last 4 years as a voluntary RNLI Lifeboat crewmen based in Looe.

Goal: My goal is to get you in great shape, help you to develop skills, coordination, and flexibility so you can lead a healthy lifestyle. I would also introduce you to healthy diet choice to improve your lifestyle.
As a Student Personal Trainer I can offer: I have a passion for exercise and enjoy helping others succeed. My personal hobbies include running, pole fitness, body weight training and flexibility exercise. After my degree I am hoping to continue into further study to compete an MSc degree. My specialist areas of interest are flexibility, body toning, nutrition and female strength training.

Goal: I aim to provide a fun and motivating environment to help my clients reach their own individual targets. My main aim is to increase physical activity levels within the community.
As a Student Personal Trainer I can offer: I choose to study BSc Health, Exercise and Physical Activity because the degree was based around helping people becoming more physically active. This is a trait I wish to share and encourage through personal training.
