IT Training from our Digital Skills team

The Digital Skills unit (previously known as IT Training & Support Unit) provides high quality IT training in a friendly, welcoming and relaxed learning environment. We can offer you support if you need help, or provide training to help you achieve a nationally recognised IT qualification.

Courses are offered on a flexible basis to fit in with individual lifestyles and are available for the complete beginner to those requiring advanced skills (Level 3). Not interested in taking any exams? No problem! We can tailor the training to your individual needs so that you can learn exactly what you want.

External Candidates

We no longer offer IT training to members of the public; however, we do offer testing facilities for the following qualifications awarded by the BCS:

  • ECDL Essentials, Level 1 - all modules
  • ECDL Core, Level 2 - all modules
  • ECDL Advanced, Level 3 - all modules (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
