The University's first Coaching and Mentoring Symposium held on 5 July attracted participants from a range of professions from across the South West.
Over 70 teachers, health professionals, military personnel, youth workers and business leaders were able to share best practice and ideas. Visiting speakers talked about their use of coaching and mentoring in contexts as diverse as palliative care and initial military training.
We were extremely pleased to welcome so many people with a commitment to the development of others to what proved to be a very successful event and one that we hope to repeat on an annual basis.
