Kate Brimacombe

Role Summary


Kate is the Associate Director of Teacher Education at Plymouth Marjon University. Kate has the strategic responsibility for school based partnerships across the EYITT, primary and secondary provision within Marjon Teacher Education Partnership.  She has extensive experience of working strategically with schools and partnerships across the Southwest.  She previously worked as a primary teacher and trained at Marjon herself. Kate has a PGCE in primary education, a Masters in Education and NPQH. Kate is a Senior Fellow of the HEA.

Kate is an experienced Local Leader of Governance. She is also a co-chair on a governing board at a school in Devon. Kate is the vice-chair of the Devon Association of Governance. Kate represents DAG on the Devon Education Forum as a primary maintained school representative. She is a board member on a number of Southwest MATs.
