Role Summary

Terry is a Careers and Enterprise Coach within the Futures Team. His area of specialism within the team is around Enterprise and Business Start-Up, developing opportunities for students to explore entrepreneurship and supporting those who wish to start their own business. He draws upon a diverse range of experience including teaching across Secondary, FE and HE; youth work, residential work, Outreach, Project Management, disability support and two uniformed public services.


Qualifications

  • MSc Social Research Methods, University of Plymouth
  • PGCE Business (11-18) with QTS, Swansea Institute of Higher Education
  • BSc (Hons) Business, Economics and Law, University of Wales Swansea

 


Teaching

I deliver a range of sessions related to careers, employability and enterprise. In addition, I am a Visiting Lecturer for Criminology.
 


Research

My research interests are in employability, barriers to education and working conditions.
