Role Summary

As Director of the Institute of Education, I am privileged to work alongside a number of highly skilled and competent academics and profesisonal services colleagues on a daily basis. As a team, we work tirelessly to ensure that every student receives the very best that we can offer: well-organised and well-managed programmes, innovative pedagogical approaches, high quality learning and teaching experiences and supportive and caring PDTs. The School of Education prides itself on being a place where students and staff can grow, develop and learn together.

Research

I have undertaken studies that have looked at managing and leading change and coaching staff across various educational settings. My main areas of interest are professional development, coaching and mentoring, behaviour for learning and leadership and management (specifically within educational contexts).
