I am currently a Lecturer and the interim Programme Leader for BSc (Hons) Forensic Science and BSc (Hons) Forensic Investigation at Plymouth Marjon University. I hold a PhD in Science (Forensic Science) from Western Sydney University. I am experienced in teaching in the higher education sector and have been an associate in university teaching since 2016.
I obtained a Bachelor of Forensic Science (Honours) in Applied Chemistry at the University of Technology Sydney. My passion in forensic identification led me to complete an Australian Research Council-funded PhD that focused on using functionalised silicon oxide nanoparticles to develop latent fingermarks.
Since joining Marjon in 2022, I have been involved in developing and delivering content for various modules including Forensic Biology, Future Forensics, Forensic Quality Standards and Advanced Forensic Analysis.
My research interests include latent fingermark detection and enhancement, fingerprint analysis, trace evidence analysis and interpretation of evidence.
