It can often be critical to a child’s future that certain seeds are sown early on. By bringing primary school children onto the Plymouth Marjon University campus, we get to show them what university life is like on a day-to-day basis.
Moreover, the ‘Raising Aspirations’ initiative is about introducing them to the idea of higher education and making university life a key part of their imagined future from an early age.
We run regular, action-packed events which are designed to open primary-age children’s eyes to the possibilities of university, while making sure they have a great time along the way. We always aim to send them home buzzing!
Past events have included inspiring speeches, drama workshops, sports and team-building activities, and even a rousing African drumming workshop.
