After graduating with a first class degree in Computing and Information Technology with Education Studies, Adam joined UCP Marjon working on the University College’s JISC funded e-Learning Pathfinder Programme, which involved working closely with colleagues across the Institution to develop pedagogically-sound teaching & learning practices, utilising innovative technologies.
Adam secured a permanent role as part of the e-Learning team at UCP Marjon in 2007, and since then has continued to work tirelessly with colleagues to drive the Institution’s use of technology-enhanced learning to new heights. Adam is also part of the Learning Enhancement Sub-committee at the University College.
Having a keen interest in the way in which different technologies can be used to help individuals overcome barriers to formal learning, Adam was delighted to be included as part of the consultation team working on the development of the SEN portal.
As a proud advocate for continuing professional development, Adam completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Online and Distance Education with the Open University in 2010 and is now working towards his Masters.
Outside of his work/academic life, Adam likes to spend his time surfing, playing football and beating his other half at Mario Kart.
