The majority of academic buildings and public indoor and outdoor spaces on campus have wireless access (802.11g/n/ac), with more planned in the next few years.
To use the wireless network, your machine must have a compatible wireless network adapter. This is now offered as a built-in option on newer laptops/smartphones/tablets.
If you do not have this option, you can purchase an adapter locally or speak to Media Services who be able to loan you one on your library card from a small stock held.
Please ensure you DO NOT use mobile devices or wifi enabled devices (printers, game consoles, smartphones etc...) as Personal/Local Hotspots because this can seriously degrade the WiFi performance and connectivity for other users. We do check and act to stop Hotspots in the campus.
