We work closely with Camp America to develop cultural exchange programmes and give our students the chance to attend a traditional American summer camp. Our links to Camp America help us to fast track the recruitment process through on-campus events, and we can even offer a certain number of students bursaries to fund their trip abroad (last year, we were able to offer 15 students individual bursaries). Since 1969, Camp America has cornered this market, giving thousands of students the chance to experience a full summer of fun and excitement, developing skills in leadership, communication, teamwork and initiative - great for the CV! Having a great time is all part of the job, and you’ll get to spend your summer with like-minded people from all over the world.
We have strong links in the USA with Bloomsburg University and Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, giving our students exciting opportunities to study abroad for a semester, or even for a whole year. Our exchange programmes are available across most disciplines in years one and two, to broaden your horizons and enhance the opportunities available in future employment. Your tuition fees will continue to be paid to Plymouth Marjon University, but there are some other financial considerations in terms of visa requirements and paying for accommodation. To find out more email email@example.com.
Our experienced Underground Team are on hand to support you and provide advice to help you increase your employability skills not only during your course but also 3 years after graduation. This can be online, in person or on the phone.
During term-time the UnderGround team, with carefully selected partners, offer tasters, workshops and seminars to assist preparation with future employment including our eFEST programme. eFEST focuses on education, experience, enterprise and employability over a week, twice throughout the academic year.
