We're proud to offer regular co-working opportunities to members of Building Brands and the Plymouth marketing community.

Co-working days at Plymouth Marjon University are brought to you in proud partnership with Building Brands Marketing Community

Isolation can be a big issue for many people. It might be that you're working from home, you're a freelancer, or you're even a single marketer working in a business. Any of those can make you feel isolated and we want to try and support you as best we can. Alongside Building Brands, we're pleased to offer a comfortable co-working space at Marjon.

Getting to campus

By bike
We have areas to secure your own bike outside our main entrance and have two Beryl Bike hubs – one outside our main entrance, and a second outside the Marjon Sport and Health Centre. A secure bike rack is located outside the main entrance and the Marjon Sport and Health Centre entrances, and bike lockers are located at various points around the campus. You'll need to bring your own padlock or bike chain.

By bus
The 42A, 42C, and 59 buses run from The George P&R past the Marjon Campus.
The 59 bus runs from Milehouse P&R to the Campus.
Other buses stopping outside the Campus and the Marjon Sport & Health Centre include the 14, 34, 42, and 42B.

By car
The University has first-come-first-served parking, and parking can be paid for on the Just Park app. You can also park in The George P&R which is a 10-minute walk or four-minute bus ride to the Campus. See more information and read our parking policy here.

When you get here

If you have parked on campus, you'll need to pay for parking via the Just Park app. Then you'll need to head into the main entrance to sign in with the Welcome Desk upon arrival. For security purposes, visitors will be provided with a lanyard which must be worn whilst on campus and be returned to the Welcome Desk when leaving.

What’s there for me?

Our coworking space, called the Gallery, is a comfortable and calm setting offering a range of seating with plenty of plugs, and a kitchenette at the back for refreshments.

On campus, we also have Barjon where you can buy something to nibble on with a Starbucks drink, the Hub Restaurant where you are able to buy delicious meals and refreshments from 11 am, Marjon Stores stocked with a huge range of Co-op products including hot and cold food and drinks to take away, and the Grandstand Café where you can find some tasty snacks and Costa Coffee drinks.

You can also take a breather in our sprawling green quad, take a stroll around our woodlands and pond, or set up on a bench dotted around the campus.

A special offer

Attend our co-working day and grab your free day pass to the Marjon Sport & Health Centre. The Centre has options for everyone from our first-class fitness suite to our 25m swimming pool to our fun and funky spin classes. See Marjon Press & PR Officer, Patrick, in the Gallery for your pass on your chosen co-working day.
