Marjon ranked first in England for student satisfaction

Released: 09.06.20

Plymouth Marjon University has been ranked first in England for student satisfaction according to the Complete University Guide 2021.

Marjon places first in England and third in the UK for student satisfaction, scoring a total of 4.23 out of five. Only Aberystwyth University in Wales and St Andrews University in Scotland placed above Marjon in the nationally recognised guide.

The guide described Plymouth Marjon University: “The university offers small class sizes. Academics will quickly know students’ names, strengths and dreams, and students get to know all their classmates.”

The news follows Marjon being ranked first in England for teaching quality in England for two consecutive years by The Times’ Good University Guide 2019 and 2020 editions. Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michelle Jones said:

“I am delighted that Marjon has been recognised once again as being an exceptional university for student satisfaction. I thank our staff for the care they show towards our students and for continually finding new ways to improve their student experience. I also thank our students, who partner with us to improve everything Marjon does.

“We put student success at the heart of everything we do. We are so pleased that these rankings demonstrate once again how much our students appreciate being part of the close-knit Marjon community.”

Last week Marjon announced it is planning to reopen its doors for the start of the next academic year in September, with a blend of online and face-to-face small group learning.
