Our postgraduate students are amongst the most satisfied in the UK. Marjon ranked first out of 88 UK institutions for contact with lecturers, first for assessment and first for Education courses in the latest Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES 2021) which asks students about their learning and teaching experience. We were also ranked in the top 5 for overall postgraduate satisfaction for the second year running.
Postgraduate courses are ideal if you enjoyed a subject at undergraduate level and you want to explore it further or to develop fresh perspective, new skills, new contacts to enable you to stand out and move forward in your career.
Teaching is typically through a blend of learning including small seminars and tutorials, online learning, hands-on lab or practical research, placements or work based projects, coupled with a significant element of independent study.
We run postgraduate courses from our Plymouth campus and we offer continuing professional development for educational professionals at Marjon University Cornwall in Truro. We also now offer two distance learning courses.
For courses starting in September 2022 we are offering a 20% discount to Marjon alumni from undergraduate courses. This discount does not apply to PGCE, MPhil or PhD.
