We look forward to welcoming you to Plymouth Marjon University for your interview day and hope that you will gain much from the experience. Your interview will provide you with an opportunity gain further information about the course, have a tour of the facilities and to meet academics and students on the course. It’s also an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have concerning your studies at Plymouth Marjon University.  All applicants for Master in Osteopathic Medicine are interviewed in line with the requirements of the General Osteopathic Council.  The purpose of the interview is to assess your suitability for the profession of Osteopathic Medicine and will involve a discussion about your reasons for wanting to join the profession, your experience and your career aspirations.

 

Interview Criteria

During the interview session, applicants will be assessed using the following criteria:

  1. Personal qualities
  2. Knowledge of course commitments
  3. Knowledge of profession
  4. Communication skills

 

Interview Schedule

We will have some morning and some afternoon interview sessions available and you will be able to choose which date suits you. For a better idea of a the schedule for the morning or afternoon, please see below:

Morning session 

0900 - 0930    Marjon campus tour 

0930-1030      Sports Center and Clinic tour and course introduction

1030-1300       Individual interviews

Afternoon session 

1230 - 1300     Marjon campus tour 

1330 - 1430     Sports Center and Clinic tour and course introduction

1430-1700       Individual interview
