Integrated Master in Osteopathy

We look forward to welcoming you to Plymouth Marjon University for your interview day and hope that you will gain much from the experience. Your interview will provide you with an opportunity gain further information about the course, have a tour of the facilities and to meet academics and students on the course. It’s also an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have concerning your studies at Plymouth Marjon University.  All applicants for Master in Osteopathic Medicine are interviewed in line with the requirements of the General Osteopathic Council.  The purpose of the interview is to assess your suitability for the profession of Osteopathic Medicine and will involve a discussion about your reasons for wanting to join the profession, your experience and your career aspirations.

 

Interview Criteria

During the interview session, applicants will be assessed using the following criteria:

  1. Personal qualities
  2. Knowledge of course commitments
  3. Knowledge of profession
  4. Communication skills

 

Interview Schedule

09:45-10:15 Allied Health and Nursing Department Welcome Talk
10:15-10:45 Course introduction and Welcome Talk
10.45-11:30 Group task
11:30 onwards

Individual interviews

Attendees are welcome to leave after their individual interview has taken place.
