Plymouth Marjon University has officially opened Clearing, welcoming enquiries from people looking to secure a place at university.
The University's Clearing Hub is now live, providing advice, guidance and direct access to support from Marjon's admissions team. Students who have changed their plans, are applying late, or are exploring new options ahead of September 2026 are encouraged to get in touch and discover the courses still available.
Adam Winsor, Admissions Manager, said: “We understand that for some people Clearing can be daunting. That’s why we’ve designed our Clearing process to help students find the right opportunity, regardless of whether their original plans have changed.
“With expert advisers available in our call centre, prospective students can discuss their qualifications, ask questions about courses and get help through the next steps in their journey.
“If you are reconsidering your options or taking your first steps towards university, Clearing is a brilliant opportunity to discover where you truly belong. We can’t wait to talk to you!”
Clearing is sometimes viewed as a last-minute option, but for Marjon students it’s often the best start to their journey. Our guides for students, parents and teachers highlight the growing number of people who successfully use Clearing as their primary route into university, helping them find the right course and institution for their ambitions.
For students feeling uncertain about results day, our advice is simple: stay calm, explore the options available and remember that there is support every step of the way. Our Clearing FAQs make clear that it is not too late to apply - many students of all ages join university through Clearing each year.
We also encourage prospective students to visit our campus before making a decision. Personalised campus tours are available throughout the Clearing period, giving you the opportunity to explore our green campus, discuss your course options and get a feel for student life. There’s even a virtual tour you can watch online.
Alongside academic opportunities, you can learn more about accommodation, student support services and life in Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City – a city offering a unique combination of coastline, countryside and vibrant urban living. The University has confirmed that accommodation spaces remain available for students joining this September.
