University shortlisted for Devon Chamber of Commerce Award

Plymouth Marjon University has been shortlisted for an ‘Education and Business Partnership’ Award by Devon Chamber of Commerce. Engaging both students and the local business community, our compelling range of business programmes are taught by research active tutors who also have real life experience of running a business.

Associate Professor and Director of The Marjon Business School, Dr Emily Beaumont, said: “Plymouth Marjon University has a strong presence within the local business community. We nurture the valuable business partnership we’ve established and work in collaboration to move forward together. Our approach to partnerships is a large part of our success and enduring reputation”.

We believe education is designed to equip our graduates for successful careers, empowering them for critical questioning, enterprising innovations and evidence based solutions”.

With more than 95% of graduates finding employment or moving into further study within six months of graduating, it’s clear to see that this student focused and committed attitude is essential to their success.
