Caroline brings over 20 years of experience in youth work to the team and has worked in and helped develop and support many youth projects across Devon. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Social Policy, an MA in Youth and Community Work, and is JNC qualified. Caroline also has a background in training delivery and is a qualified Mental Health First Aid (youth) instructor.
Her teaching and practice are shaped by a deep commitment to supporting young people, particularly in rural communities. Caroline’s areas of interest include rural youth work and isolation, young people’s mental health, and the importance of spaces and places for effective youth work delivery.
Caroline is also currently in practice at a youth project in Torridge, still enjoying face to face youth work.
At Marjon she undertakes PDTs, leads and teaches on a number of modules on the Youth and Community course. She has also contributed to previous youth and community work masterclasses and the annual Youth Work Conference.
