Role Summary

I am an experienced Early Years Teacher and Pre-School Manager with additional insight into primary education, including school governance. I have Higher Education teaching experience in respect of Child Development and Early Years Initial Teacher Training. My specific interests are Attachment, Transitions and Children's Emotional Development, as well as Leadership in Early Years, particularly in the application of a Mentoring approach.

I programme lead the Foundation Degrees in Teaching and Learning and in Early Years, as well as leading the Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship (STA). I also teach on and lead a range of other modules within the Department of Education at Marjon.
