Damien Hackney

Role Summary

Damien leads the BSc psychology programme, as well as lecturing across multiple modules and programmes in research methods, social psychology, and behavioural science. Damien also runs the Marjon Environmental Psychology Working Group (MEP).


Qualifications

BSc Psychology (1st class honours)
MSc Social Research Methods and Evaluation (with distinction)
PhD Environmental psychology/philosophy/ethics


Teaching

Damien teaches across multiple programmes on psychological topics with a focus on research methods, social psychology and behavioural science.


Research

Damien's research focuses on nature-connection, understandings of and relationships with nature and the natural world, and the capacity of environmental philosophy to inform worldviews and values.
