Fiona Nicholls

Role Summary

Fiona Nicholls is a registered outdoor adventure education practitioner with significant experience of planning and delivering degree-level programmes in higher education; and managing the delivery of high-quality outdoor education in the commercial and voluntary sector. she has an emerging and respected research background focusing on place-based learning and socially constructed relationships between risk and learning. Fiona is interested in developing an academic career that combines her passion for the delivery of high-quality outdoor adventure education and research informed practice.
