Course Summary

On this course you'll explore how cutting-edge applied sciences are changing the game for high performance sports and learn lifelong skills for building resilience and improving wellbeing. We'll show you how to build your own personal brand through innovative digital and media strategies, in addition to looking at the creation of high-performance cultures.

You’ll combine theory with applied practice to understand the landscape of sports performance. Assessments will be practical and take place in a variety of formats, from individual and group presentations, to pitches, portfolios, reports and practical assessment.

Mark is a Lecturer in Sport Coaching and Sports Science and is also the Programme Co-ordinator for the FdSc Sport, Coaching and School Sport programmme. He teaches predominantly across the programme as well as the BA (Hons) Sport Coaching & Physical Education and BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degrees.
