Applicant Days

Once you have an offer from us, either conditional or unconditional, you'll be invited to visit us to get a feel for life at the University.

A typical Applicant Day includes:

Your visit will include some, or all, of:

  • An opportunity to meet with your subject tutors
  • A chance to meet other prospective students from your course
  • Taster sessions for your chosen subject
  • An interactive Campus Tour, introducing you to the University community
  • Advice sessions on accommodation and student finance

Applicant Days will take place in February, March and April. You are welcome to bring a guest with you on the day.

We ask that Applicant Day visitors for our sports courses (excluding Sport Development) wear appropriate sports kit.

Upcoming Applicant Day dates

Applicant Day dates for 2019 are:

  • Friday 22 February
  • Saturday 9 March
  • Wednesday, 10 April

Please note: All academic schools will be represented across all three dates, but course availability may vary. Please visit your Applicant Portal to see the full list of courses available on each day.

Journalism students will participate in a slightly longer Applicant Day than other course areas, and should prepare to arrive earlier than the advertised time. More information will follow once students are registered.
