(THREAD) The Police have recently reported that men, either alone or in groups, have been waiting outside bars and clubs trying to encourage women to go with them. There have even been occasions where men have been ‘scouting’ women inside and

(THREAD) Bars and clubs in Plymouth have been briefed about this and are able to help if you are worried about yourself or a friend. If you are going out in Plymouth, stick together, stay vigilant, and stay in touch.

(THREAD) If you see anything suspicious or worrying, speak to the security officer at the club or bar, or ring 101. In an emergency, call 999.

(THREAD) Plymouth also has new ‘help points’ dotted around the city. If you need help, press the red button and you will be connected to the 24/7 CCTV control room which has links to PARCs officers, Police, and other enforcement. See more
