Marjon has collaborated with @PollenizeCIC and is now home to a colony of bees Pollenize are creating a network of community-funded research beehives stocked with European Dark Honey Bees. The aim is to conserve and extend the local populations of
The bees will be monitored weekly by the experts from Pollenize. The bee hive is located at the bottom of the allotment on campus - netting has been put up to ensure the bees fly up and out of the area when they leave their hive.
