A bank holiday has been declared for the day of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, Monday 19 September. This is the start of Welcome Week, and the day when most first years travel to campus for essential inductions. We have made some amends to planned
Key headlines: No change to moving in dates. Those moving to campus can continue to move in according to the previous schedule. Essential inductions have been delayed by one day for first years, to Tuesday 20 September.
Monday 19 September: Social and informal activities will take place (rather than essential inductions). Second year Welcome Back sessions, previously planned for Tuesday 20 September, will move to Wednesday 21 September.

(THREAD) Does anyone remember Marjon Holidays? Marjon Holidays ran for a number of years. The image below is from a 1993 copy of Woman's Weekly. An ad for these holidays can be spotted at the bottom of page. Big thank you to @gillianfewings for
One of our fabulous alumni shared this: "In Summer 1980 the campus became a holiday camp for the over 60’s. "I stayed on that summer and worked as a courier. Wallace Arnold coaches used to arrive every morning and off we would go."
"Tuesday was Looe and Polperro. Thursday was Newquay, Friday we went to Lands End. On Sunday afternoon we had cream tea at Badgers Holt. "Evenings were spent playing bingo and ballroom dancing. Great fun!" We love hearing your memories from Marjon
