This unique event offers the opportunity to discover more about the Speech and Language Therapist’s (SLT’s) role. You will hear personal stories from SLTs working in the NHS and other settings, and you will meet students currently studying SLT at the University. Marjon offers a 3 year BSc (Hons) Speech & Language Therapy degree which leads to a professional qualification as a SLT.
We welcome applicants studying Access to Higher Education courses and foundation/first degrees. If you are thinking of applying for an SLT course but have had difficulty securing experience ‘shadowing’ an SLT to find out more about the profession, then this day is for you!
