SHC terms

The Marjon Sport & Health Clinic operates out of Marjon Sport & Health and is part of the wider Plymouth Marjon University Organisation.


Did not attend (DNA). Cancellations or amendments should be made as soon as possible, however, Marjon Sport & Health Clinic reserves the right to charge users the full rate of the appointment for cancellations made with less than 6 hours notice or when no cancellation notice has been made. In the case of a DNA, the customer will be charged the full price of the service booked, at the time of the appointment.

Client continuity. To improve the service we provide to our clients, and the learning experience of our students, we endeavour to keep continuity between the therapists and the clients, throughout the period of treatment. However, as this is a learning clinic, we operate with an element of flexibility which means we cannot guarantee in all circumstances that you will see the same therapist.

Appointments. All our appointments in the clinic are scheduled on the hour and last up to 45 minutes.

Payments and charges. Payments may be made by cash or credit/debit card. The charges for the use of Marjon Sport & Health Clinic shall be as advertised or agreed at the time of booking.

Children. We request that individuals under 16 years of age are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Data protection. The clinic adheres to policies as described in the GDPR and DPA 2018. For more information on our data storage or to request your personal data, please refer to the University's privacy statement.

Complaints. In the event of a complaint please contact a member of the clinic team in the first instance; they will do their very best to resolve the issue in question. In the unlikely event of an unsatisfactory response please email the clinic supervisor on awalker@marjon.ac.uk.
