BA Journalism, Journalism (Sport) and Journalism (Photography) Interviews

Candidates will be selected and invited to an online interview based on their personal statement and education history. The aim of the interview is to find out more about your interest and enthusiasm for Journalism.

Your interview

If you are successful in achieving an interview we will update your UCAS application with the interview date and we will then email further information to you.

Your interview will be held online via Microsoft Teams and will last for approximately 20 minutes. The Interview will be conducted with the programme leader or a course tutor on our Journalism course, and will be a conversation around your suitability for the programme, any previous experience or relevant work you have completed, what really interests you and your passion and enthusiasm for the subject.

No other preparation will be required beforehand, apart from your interest in Journalism here at Marjon.

 

After the interview

If you are successful in securing a place on one of our Journalism programmes, you will be notified via UCAS. You will also be invited to visit the Marjon campus at a later date.
