Governance, Strategy and Foresight Committee
What the committee does
The Governance, Strategy and Foresight Committee (GSAF) is responsible for evaluating the balance of skills, knowledge and experience on the Board of Directors and Board Committees. The Committee also interviews prospective members and nominates membership for approval by the Board of Directors.
GSAF ensures that the Board of Directors' membership is diverse and quorate. It monitors the re-appointment of members into their second term. GSAF also oversees the effectiveness of the Board through a rigorous annual review process.

How we perform
Governance, Strategy and Foresight Committee (GSAF) is responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of governance arrangements within the University, its Board and committees. The Terms of Reference require the committee to:
- Evaluate, at least annually, the effectiveness of the Board of Directors.
- Adopt an approach of continuous improvement to governance, in order to enhance the effectiveness of the Board.
