Role Summary

Damien’s interests extend from psychological research into ‘nature-connection’ through to political ecology. His thoughts are occupied with the meaning of the Anthropocene, and the potential for new materialism to inform an environmental ethic fit for guiding us through the climate and ecological crisis.

Damien’s PhD project is a multi-sited, qualitative approach to producing knowledge of the relationality connecting humans, non-humans and various ‘natural’ and ‘built’ materialities.
