My ethnographic research explores social interaction within Primary Schools. I am focusing upon how the concepts of respect, courtesy and manners are constructed, performed and internalised, within the context of two Primary Schools in Devon.

I have been a Primary teacher and most recently, a Headteacher across a number of schools in Devon and Somerset. I have a passion for teaching and supporting disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND.
I currently privately tutor EYFS – KS4 pupils in English and Maths, including some pupils who are currently out of education.
